When you think of Argentina, you think of tango, soccer, mate tea… and vast, breathtaking nature that stretches as far as the eye can see.
From north to south, it’s like a country filled with many different worlds all packed into one.
Today, Che! is excited to share five places that I truly want you to visit.
1. Iguazú Falls
Spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil, this spectacular site features 275 waterfalls thundering all at once.
At the largest waterfall called the “Devil’s Throat” (Garganta del Diablo), you’re surrounded by a mist so thick you can barely hear anything else.
When a rainbow appears over the cascading water, it feels like you’re witnessing nature’s own magic.

💬 A Word from Che!
I visited Iguazú for the first time when I was 21. The sheer scale left me speechless. The view before my eyes felt like a dream, and I just stood there, unable to move.
2. Buenos Aires
The capital of Argentina, often called the Paris of South America.
Stroll along the cobblestone streets of San Telmo, where old cafés and antique markets await.
In the La Boca district, colorful Caminito Street pulses with the rhythm of tango.
At night, enjoy a parrilla (charcoal-grilled steak) paired with a glass of Argentine wine.
History, art, and gourmet delights—all packed into the vibrant charm of this city.
💬 A Word from Che!
I love wandering the romantic alleys of San Telmo. And Palermo’s nightlife is so lively, you can easily spend the night hopping between bars and cafés until dawn. It’s a big city, but you still feel the warmth of its people.
3. El Calafate
The gateway to Patagonia tourism.
From here, you can access the Perito Moreno Glacier, where massive, shimmering blue ice walls reach down to the lake.
If you’re lucky, you might witness a thunderous chunk of the glacier breaking off into the water.
The town also offers southern Argentine specialties like lamb dishes and sweet treats made from calafate berries.
💬 A Word from Che!
On a small cruise boat, I got close to the glacier and enjoyed something unforgettable—a whisky on the rocks… made with actual glacier ice! It felt like tasting a piece of Antarctica, a truly luxurious moment.
4. Fitz Roy
A dream mountain for outdoor lovers.
From the village of El Chaltén, trekking routes range from beginner-friendly to advanced.
The sight of Mount Fitz Roy glowing bright red at sunrise is breathtaking.
Each step you take to reach these views becomes a memory for life.
💬 A Word from Che!
Actually, my school emblem featured “El Chaltén”—the silhouette of Fitz Roy. I haven’t been there yet, but somehow the mountain has always felt close to me.
5. Península Valdés
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a wildlife sanctuary.
This peninsula juts into the South Atlantic, where you can observe whales, sea lions, penguins, and orcas.
Especially from June to December, southern right whale mothers and calves visit the bay,
offering incredible close-up sightings from boats.
It’s a precious place where nature and wildlife coexist beautifully.
💬 A Word from Che!
I haven’t been to Península Valdés yet, but I met penguins in Ushuaia, the southernmost town in the world. Their small but proud presence was so charming, I could watch them for hours.
